Miguel Rincon had a good game, but he could not keep the DeKalb Cornhuskers from falling, 10-8, to the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Corn Crib. The DeKalb third baseman went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the loss. San Antonio reliever Kyle Gamber picked up the win to move to 2-0. Ted Gray suffered the loss. The Storm Troopers move to 40-34 with the win, while the Cornhuskers drop to 43-29.

San Antonio used the timely hitting of Nathaniel King to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Storm Troopers on top, 9-8. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," King said.
