Snelling played host to Frisco at the friendly confines of Seven Pines Corral.

Benefiting from Joe Jones's productive game, the Snelling Cattlemen downed the Frisco Rams, 10-4. Jones went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Cattlemen. The winner was Leon Burgos in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jeff Beem took the loss.

Mario Romero had a productive at-bat for the Cattlemen with no one out in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, the center fielder hit a 2-run home run. The at-bat was important in the Snelling win.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Jones told the Snelling News. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."

Snelling now owns a record of 38-32.
