Frisco picked up a win at Outlander Park, bumping off the Murraysville Peacocks, 4-2. Pitcher Brendan Loos was a major reason the Rams emerged victorious. Loos yielded 2 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 8-3. Nick Loyd, credited with the save, is now 13 for 16 in save opportunities.
Frisco went up, 4-0, on Jeff Brokaw's 10th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Brokaw hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Murraysville pitcher Eric Church shaking his head.
Said Frisco manager Joe Renken: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
Frisco is 6th in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League with a record of 27-34.
