The Boston Whitecaps picked up a win at The Studio, topping the Wichita Wolverines, 6-4. On the mound for Boston was right-hander Bill Larimore. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win for the Whitecaps lifted their record to 41-28.

Bobby Washburn, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2059 draft, helped out the Boston cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
