Wolverines Handed 5-3 Loss by Hackers

Silicon Valley pitcher Miguel Araiza did his part in helping his team beat the Wichita Wolverines, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The win went to Carlos Correa in relief, making him now 1-0. Luis Jacinto took the loss for Wichita. The Hackers now have a mark of 47-22.
The Hackers got a big at-bat from right fielder Tony Jimenez. For the game, Jimenez was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Silicon Valley a 3-2 lead.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Jimenez, "one at-bat at a time."
