Extra-Inning Win by Steelheads Over Black Bears
The Roaring River Steelheads topped the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 10-7, in 11 innings at The Stetson Bowl. The game was highlighted by the performance of Roaring River catcher Matthew Holbrook. Luppe Frijters, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. With the victory, the Steelheads record stands at 24-35.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Holbrook delivered big-time for Roaring River, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Chris Roberts. The game-changing hit put the Steelheads on top, 10-7.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Holbrook.
