Rockets Drop 4-2 Decision
|
The Evanston Bishops cut down the Kelowna Rockets by the score of 4-2, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Cliff Desjardins. Desjardins went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Bishops. Lorenzo Rodriguez earned the win for Evanston. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 1-2. Their 35-29 record puts the Bishops 4th in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.
