Gregory, Wauwatosa Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
Danny Gregory pitched a gem to lead Wauwatosa to victory over the Roaring River Steelheads, 2-0. Ray Thompson notched his 2nd save in 2 chances. Wauwatosa, now 31-34, holds down 5th place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division.
Gregory earned the win, going 7.2 strong innings for Wauwatosa. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 8. Roaring River hitters had little success against him.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Roaring River skipper Mike Bouffard, "and it cost us."
