The Marysville Monarchs topped the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 10-3, in RCL AA action at Mitts Fieldhouse. The game was highlighted by the performance of Marysville pitcher Ken McCutcheon. Yes, it was a win for Marysville; but their 20-44 record is still nothing to boast about.

Chris Cruz, who is tied for 2nd in the RAA in triples with 4, helped out the Marysville cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said McCutcheon.
