Hackers Collect 6-4 Win Versus Adirondack
Behind a fine performance from Matt Adams, the Silicon Valley Hackers knocked off the Adirondack Lumberjacks, 6-4. Adams went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Hackers. Silicon Valley reliever Morgan Slowik picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Jose Perez was saddled with the loss. Silicon Valley is now 35-19. Adirondack is 29-24.

Adams had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Jose Perez, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Hackers a 6-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Adams.

"No complaints from me," said Hackers manager Jo-hsi Sang. "I like what I saw out there."
