Warriors Take Nail-Biter Over Sasquatch
Despite a great performance by Seattle second baseman Noah Kate, the Walnut Creek Warriors defeated the Sasquatch by the score of 5-4 in 10 innings at Castlerock Field. Kate went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Walnut Creek reliever Joe Keefer picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Sam Godfrey absorbed the loss. The win puts Walnut Creek at 23-16 this season.

Walnut Creek got a knockout punch from Kevin McArdle. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This place was rocking at the end," McArdle said.
