|
Tom Clow was nothing short of phenomenal for the Moose Jaw Canucks. The 25-year-old left-hander was a big reason his team beat the Spokane Bulldogs, 5-1. Clow, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 10, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Moose Jaw's winning streak has reached 4 games.
The Canucks got a big at-bat from designated hitter Pat Tufts. For the game, Tufts was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Moose Jaw a 2-0 lead.
