The Frisco Rams beat the Kelowna Rockets, 6-4, at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Steve Dyke, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Mike Gallion earned the win for Frisco. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 7 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 3-7. Billy Taylor notched his 1st save in 1 chances.

With Frisco leading 4-3 in the top of the fifth, Dyke hit a curveball from Miguel Dominguez for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Rams ahead, 6-3.

"I felt good up there," said Dyke. "I saw the ball well."

The 'W' lifts Frisco's record to 29-32.
