Windsor Dismisses Fraser Valley, 5-3
The Windsor Royals picked up a win at The Stetson Bowl, knocking off the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 5-3. Starting pitcher Jim Frizzell played a key role in the triumph. Windsor now sports a record of 31-20.

It could have been a different outcome for Windsor, had it not been for Ed Zeerip, the 25-year old center fielder . Zeerip contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Windsor up, 4-3.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Zeerip told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
