Bloomington Earns 6-5 Win
|
Bloomington beat Maple at Arson Arena, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to left fielder Jaden White. He went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Randy Stucki claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record stands at 1-0. The first-place Blazers have a one-game lead in their division.
Ramiro Zabaleta was the walk-off hero for Bloomington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blazers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
