Kelowna starter Andres Alvarez had a strong outing against the Riverside Red Bulls at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Kelowna, now 31-28, holds second place in the RCLAA Lou Piniella League.

Jeff Colquitt had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Rockets. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Kelowna trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run triple.

"It's a mindset," said Alvarez. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
