The Mexico City Luchadores beat the Quebec Armada, 7-6, in 13 innings. Mexico City pitcher and Ecatepec, Mexico, native Miguel Arroyo led the way. With the win, Mexico City has a record of 15-23. Quebec falls to 15-23.

Batting in the bottom of the 13th, 20-year old first baseman Leo Galdamez had a real shot to win the game. Quebec pitcher Ed Roby was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Galdamez hit a run-scoring single. The Luchadores had a walk-off triumph.

"I like how we battled to the end," said Arroyo.
