The Montreal Mounties, behind a great outing from Kyle Peacock, who is tied for 3rd in the TML in wins with 4, defeated the Bighorn Bison, 2-0, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Peacock got the win, improving to 4-1. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. With the win, Montreal goes to 18-15, while the Bison fall to 13-20.

Montreal used the timely hitting of Danny Bautista to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mounties on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Bautista.
