Asheville Triumphs with Late Surge
There was never a dull moment in an extra-length game between the Asheville Moonshiners and the Montreal Mounties.

Asheville Moonshiners starter Grant Warren pitched his team past the Montreal Mounties, 3-2, in 11 innings. Steven Shiplack came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 3-2.

Asheville got a game-changing hit from Mike Flemming. The designated hitter blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said Flemming.

The Moonshiners sit in 6th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division with a record of 14-19.
