Pipe Fitters Dump Clearwater, 6-3, to Win 4th in a Row
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters knocked off the Clearwater Seagulls, 6-3, in TML AA action at Chapman Field. Niagara Falls pitcher and Carencro, Louisiana, native Kyle Carothers had an outstanding performance. Carothers, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 10, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. The Pipe Fitters have now won 4 straight.

It could have been a different outcome for Niagara Falls, had it not been for Khalil Easterling, the 22-year old second baseman . Easterling contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Niagara Falls up, 1-0.
