Sorrells Swings Honu to 11-7 Win
Hawaii designated hitter Miles Sorrells helped his team beat the Bloomington Blazers, 11-7. Sorrells, the 16th overall pick in the 2060 draft, went 2 for 3 for the Honu. Tom Mitcham closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. The Honu go to 17-16, putting them 4th in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

Hawaii used the hitting of Ramon Torres to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Honu on top, 7-5. For the game, Torres had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Sorrells said.
