Red Bulls Get Past Louisiana for 6-5 Win
The Riverside Red Bulls defeated the Louisiana Crocodiles, 6-5. Earning player of the game honors was shortstop Andy Johannesen, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Riverside reliever Tyler Reed was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Dave Tryban took the loss. Chotaro Matsuno finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Riverside took a 6-5 lead on John Tharpe's 4th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Tharpe hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Louisiana pitcher Eddie Ramos shaking his head.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Tharpe.

Riverside is now 35-20, 6˝ games up in the RCLAA Lou Piniella League.
