Pacifica beat Atlantic City at Casino Grounds, escaping with a 4-3 win. The win in large part was due to left fielder Frank Sylvester. He hit 3 home runs. Mike Gillespie, who is tied for 10th in the RAA with a 3.02 ERA, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 5-0. The victory puts Pacifica at 19-30.

Sylvester had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Lourenço Pery, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Shamrocks a 4-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Sylvester.

"It was a good win," Sylvester told the Pacifica Daily. "Enough to get the monkey off our back? I don't know."
