Pipe Fitters Capture 5-3 Win at FUBU Field

Niagara Falls and Evanston duked it out and the Pipe Fitters came out victorious.
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters defeated the Evanston Bishops, 5-3, in TML AA action at FUBU Field. Niagara Falls pitcher Carl Reusch had a standout performance. Pete Wood collected save number 12.
Niagara Falls used a well-timed hit by Marty Kleinberg to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Pipe Fitters ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
Kleinberg called the win "a pick-me-upper."
With this game in the books, Niagara Falls is 21-26, Evanston 21-26.
