Cornhuskers Rally For Late Win Over Shamrocks
DeKalb Cornhuskers starter Jason Englert found his groove in his team's 6-0 win over the Pacifica Shamrocks. DeKalb reliever Jason Englert got the win, raising his record to 8-1. Kamaliela Amarco was tagged with the loss. With this game in the books, DeKalb is 30-25, Pacifica 18-37.

DeKalb took a 6-0 lead on Joseph Heacock's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Heacock hit in the top of the ninth, left Pacifica pitcher Scott McConnell visibly frustrated.

"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Englert.
