The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats beat the Wauwatosa Indians, 7-5, at The Coffee Grinder. Ted Illig was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. The 24-year old first baseman was a menace to Wauwatosa all day. Chris Sipes was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts. Buzzard's Bay currently is in third place in the RCL AA Gene Mauch Division at 29-26.

The Beetlecats got a big at-bat from left fielder Cesar Rodriguez. For the game, Rodriguez was 1-3 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 8th double of the season gave Buzzard's Bay a 5-3 lead.
