The Clearwater Seagulls powered past the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 10-5, at Chapman Field. Shane Burt provided some of the pop. Rabbit was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. John Cochrane, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2061 draft, was the winner. He's now 2-1. The loser was Mario Lopez. Willie Oropeza earned the save for Clearwater, his 2nd.

With Clearwater leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Burt hit a fastball from Mario Lopez for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Seagulls ahead, 4-0.

"Winning never gets dull," said Burt.

Clearwater occupies third place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division at 31-22.
