Pipe Fitters Earn 4-3 Win Against Wolverines
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters and Wichita Wolverines fought to the finish at Pipe Fitters Park.

At Pipe Fitters Park, the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters edged the Wichita Wolverines, 4-3, in 11 innings. Niagara Falls first baseman Osvaldo Guerini, who jolted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The Wolverines, now 18-35, have lost 12 in a row.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Guerini hit a fastball from Orlando Sanchez for a run-scoring single. The Pipe Fitters, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Guerini.
