Despite a great performance by Chicago center fielder Israel Cardenas, the El Paso Mavericks defeated the Eclipse by the score of 8-7 at Millennium Field. Cardenas went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The defeat makes Chicago 24-15.

El Paso used the hitting of Noah Chadick to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Mavericks on top, 2-0. For the game, Chadick had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Chadick told the El Paso Observer.
