Peacocks Take Down Hackers, 5-4, in 10
Murraysville starter Steve Matkin pitched well against the Silicon Valley Hackers at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4, in 10 innings. Even with the win, the Peacocks have a dismal 16-38 record.

Murraysville used the timely hitting of Juan Sanchez to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Peacocks on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said Murraysville manager Joseph Kelley.
