Both offenses were feeble at The Swamp. Fortunately for the Louisiana Crocodiles, though, Jaime Kolster delivered in the clutch. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 1 run, to help his team topple the Wichita Wolverines, 2-1. In 6 innings, Kolster surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The save was credited to Don Krueger, his 1st.

The Crocodiles got a big at-bat from first baseman David Surrett. For the game, Surrett went 1-2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Louisiana a 2-1 lead.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Surrett.
