The Red Bulls had to overcome a fine effort from Spokane pitcher Ivan Pimentel to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Red Bull Stadium. Pimentel went 8 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. Joe Simonis earned his 12th save in 12 tries. The Red Bulls saw their record improve to 24-27.

Riverside took a 4-3 lead on Michael Linton's 39th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Linton hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Spokane pitcher Ivan Pimentel shaking his head.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Riverside manager Sean Bergeron.
