Rockets Go 10 Innings to Beat Buzzard's Bay, 4-3
The Kelowna Rockets had to overcome a fine effort from Buzzard's Bay pitcher Marco Acosta to win, 4-3, in 10 innings at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. Acosta went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The win went to Alan Moors in relief, making him now 1-0. Matt Williams took the loss for Buzzard's Bay. The 4th-place Rockets are now 23-26, the Beetlecats 26-23.

The Rockets got a clutch hit from shortstop Walt Sulkowski. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rockets.

"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Sulkowski.
