Gainey goes 3-for-4 to Pull Rockets to .500
Spirited fans at The Clone Army greeted the San Antonio Storm Troopers for their clash with the Kelowna Rockets.

Chase Gainey had a 5-RBI game, during Kelowna's 7-2 triumph over the San Antonio. Gainey contributed 2 singles and 1 home run to the cause. Tyler Sullivan earned the win for Kelowna. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 5-2.

With Kelowna leading 4-1 in the top of the sixth, Gainey hit a fastball from Eric Gualtieri for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Rockets ahead, 7-1.

"We played hard and won," said Gainey. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
