Hawks Win with Late Heroics
The Boise Hawks, despite a fine performance by Louisiana pitcher Vicente Cosme, grabbed a 3-2 win at Basque Block Field. Cosme allowed 2 runs over 9 innings. Boise reliever Bobby Fischman was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Roberto Samper. Boise has now won 4 straight.

The Hawks got a clutch hit from catcher Rich Woods. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hawks.
