The Carson City Mustang downed the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-4, in 10 innings. Matthew Rice led the way, going 4-for-5 for Carson City. Damien Lamboglio locked down his 2nd save. Carson City, now 19-20, holds down 4th place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.

Gary Coffman drove in one run for Carson City. With one out and the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, Coffman had a clutch at-bat. Facing Silicon Valley hurler Ron Williams, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Mustang a 5-4 lead.

"It was terrific getting this win," Coffman said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
