The Silicon Valley Hackers beat the Beaumont Drillers, 11-0, at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Justin Sheridan starred for Silicon Valley. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Silicon Valley goes to 32-13. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.

With Silicon Valley leading 4-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Sheridan came up to bat against Beaumont pitcher Antonio Barona. Sheridan hit a fastball to center for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Hackers on top, 7-0.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Sheridan told the Silicon Valley News. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
