Jamari Muse left his imprint on the 8-4 Wichita win against the Beaumont Drillers. Muse, who leads the TAA in doubles with 12, went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Earning his 5th save for Wichita was Luis Segarra. Wichita is now 11-27, while Beaumont is 21-18.

Wichita first baseman George Morrissey produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the eighth with Alex Meza on the mound and Wichita leading 4-3. Morrissey drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said Wichita manager John Bunce.
