3-2 Win for Carson City Over Sandy Springs
The Carson City Mustang and Sandy Springs Spartans played an entertaining game for Cowboys Stadium patrons.

The Carson City Mustang eked out a 3-2 win versus the Sandy Springs Spartans at Cowboys Stadium. Nobody did more than designated hitter Matt Daniel. He was terrific. The second-place Mustang now have a win-loss record of 26-19.

With Carson City leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Daniel hit a curveball from Patrick Perillo for a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Mustang ahead, 3-0.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Sandy Springs manager Rafael Alonso said, following the tough loss.
