No one was more impactful than Bobby Churchill in the 6-5 Evanston win over Wichita. Churchill went 2 for 2 with a double, while adding 4 RBI. Earning his 4th save for Evanston was Tom Elliott. The win gives Evanston a season record of 23-12.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Churchill delivered big-time for Evanston, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Raul Capetillo. The game-changing hit put the Bishops on top, 6-5.
