The Evanston Bishops beat the Wauwatosa Indians, 4-1, with major props going to right fielder Kyle Bullock. On the day, Bullock went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk for the Bishops. The Bishops now have a mark of 23-19.
Austin Garvin, who leads the TAA in RBI with 36, came through for Evanston with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 runs batted in.
"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Garvin. "It sure beats the alternative."
