Brian Carr knocked in all 4 runs for the Eureka Hornets, helping them beat the West Island Jazz, 4-2. Their 22-16 record puts the Hornets third in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division.

With Eureka leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Carr hit a fastball from Ken Aubin for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Hornets ahead, 4-0.
