Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Wolverines
The Wichita Wolverines weathered an outstanding game by Evanston left fielder Brad Magen to topple the Bishops, 4-3. Magen went 2-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Wichita is now 9-26, while Evanston is 22-12.

Wichita used a timely hit from Matt Harloff to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Wolverines ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"They were just a little bit better than us," Evanston manager Demetrio Recchia said.
