A good performance from left fielder John Capanna helped the Milwaukee Millers defeat the Huntington Station Ramrods, 6-5. Capanna went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Millers. Milwaukee reliever Pete Newby picked up the win. Ben Benson, the 12th overall pick in the 2056 draft, took the loss for Huntington Station. The Ramrods drop to 10-23, as their stumbling start to the 2062 season continues.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Capanna hit a fastball from Ben Benson for a run-scoring single. The Millers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

In postgame comments to the Milwaukee Gazette, Capanna said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
