The Clearwater Seagulls got a stellar performance from pitcher Andres Luna, who handcuffed the Wichita offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Chapman Field. Scott Perciavalle stitched up the save, his 3rd. Clearwater, at 21-19, sits in third place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.
Chris Handley, who is tied for 8th in the TAA in RBI with 26, helped out the Clearwater cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate.
"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Luna.
