Multi-HR Day for Zamora as Hawks Overpower Crocodiles, 4-2

Fans who gathered at Basque Block Field saw a good contest between the Boise Hawks and Louisiana Crocodiles.
The Boise Hawks defeated the Louisiana Crocodiles, 4-2, at Basque Block Field. Boise right fielder Victor Zamora was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs. Brenden Miller earned his 12th save in 15 tries.
The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Ed Vega came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Louisiana pitcher Tony Rodriguez, he hit a first pitch changeup for a run-scoring double. It was a game-changer, putting Boise on top, 3-2.
"I felt good up there," said Zamora. "I saw the ball well."
The last-place Crocodiles have lost 4 consecutive games.
