Pipe Fitters Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Boston Whitecaps and Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters.

Though he had a stellar game, Ceasario Buozzi could not prevent his team, the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, from losing, 7-6, to the Boston Whitecaps. Buozzi went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. At 20-13, the Whitecaps are currently third in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.

Timely hitting helped the Whitecaps beat the Pipe Fitters. Prime example: the two-out single Henry Pitcher registered in the top of the ninth. Facing Dave Wenzel, Pitcher gave his team the lead, 7-6, when he hit a 2-run single.

"I like our moxie," said Whitecaps manager T.J. Hall.
