Pipe Fitters Get Hard-Earned Win
Ryan Williams pitched a gem to lead Niagara Falls to victory over the Clearwater Seagulls, 2-1. Pete Wood closed the game out for Niagara Falls, earning his 8th save. Niagara Falls now sits at 14-20, while Clearwater falls to 18-16.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Marty Kleinberg came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Clearwater pitcher Bryan Forman, he hit a 3-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Niagara Falls on top, 2-1.

"Tough loss," said Clearwater manager Ayub Ndadaye. "This one will sting for a while."
