Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Murraysville Peacocks and Frisco Rams.
The Murraysville Peacocks tallied a win at Outlander Park, throttling the Frisco Rams, 4-2. Starting pitcher Mike Lanham was a big reason for his team's success. Murraysville, with the win, is 12-26.
Murraysville used a clutch at-bat from Young-hoon Kang to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Peacocks ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
Kang called the win "a team effort."
