Indians Get Close Win Over Beetlecats, 8-7
Buzzard's Bay catcher Mike Noel had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Wauwatosa at The Coffee Grinder. Noel went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to 23-year old right-handed pitcher Tim Garthwaite in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Danny Torres took the loss. Tom Cole wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 23-year old second baseman Jeremy Huggins. Huggins had a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Indians ahead, 8-7. For the game, Huggins had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Huggins said afterward that "winning, obviously, is the main objective."

The win moves Wauwatosa to a record of 24-8.
