Shamrocks Topple Beetlecats with Late Rally
Pacifica and Buzzard's Bay duked it out and the Shamrocks came out victorious.

The Pacifica Shamrocks locked up a win at The Coffee Grinder, knocking off the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 7-4. On the mound for Pacifica was right-hander Chris Barratt. He played a major role in the triumph. Barratt got the win, improving to 5-8. He gave up 6 hits and walked 6 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs.

Pacifica used a timely hit from Jimmy Fifer to get the win. The center fielder delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Shamrocks on top, 6-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said Shamrocks manager Pedro Mercado.

Pacifica, with the win, sits at 11-27.
