Late Rally Earns Black Mountain 3-2 Win

The Black Mountain Mountaineers got a stellar effort from pitcher Andy Jones, helping Black Mountain score a win over the visiting Sandy Springs Spartans, 3-2, in 10 innings. After today's action, Black Mountain sits at 18-15; Sandy Springs slips to 15-19.
The Mountaineers got a clutch hit from designated hitter Jay Lundgren. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Mountaineers.
"I had a good game plan," said Jones. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Mario Encarnación said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
