The Spokane Bulldogs overcame a good performance by Wichita first baseman Colby McAbee to knock off Wichita, 9-6, at The Kennel. McAbee went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The winning pitcher was Carlos Montelongo. He tossed 102 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 9 hits. Picking up the save was Andres Esparza, his 2nd.
